Project Description

This project is located at Lace Market Point, London Road, Nottingham, consisting of 91 apartments and a range of other facilities. I was lucky enough to be able to take a tour of the development before it’s completion, and I have to say, it’s really impressive.

The tower block is 10 storeys high and the low-rise building is 4 storeys, so there’s plenty of space for everyone. The best thing about Lace Market Point though, is the communal gardens. There are two large gardens on either side of the development, as well as a gym, retail space and meeting rooms. It really has everything you could need!

Basement parking is also available, which is great news for people who commute into Nottingham every day. Overall, we think Lace Market Point is going to be a huge success and We’re excited to see it finished!

The new PRS development for “young professionals” is the talk of the town. Many young adults are eager to get their hands on one of the luxurious apartments, as this is a much-needed development in the city. With an abundance of student developments, there was a gap in the market for young professionals who want to live in a more grown-up environment.

The developer has spared no expense in creating a top-of-the-line development. There is a state-of-the art gym, cinema room and roof terrace. The apartments themselves are spacious and come with high-end finishes. This is perfect for young adults who are looking to start their lives independently.

The location of the development could not be better either. It is situated right next to all of the amenities that young professionals would need such as shops, restaurants and bars. This makes it the perfect place to call home.

We step out of the lift and onto the fourth floor, our new project for the next few months. We’ve been looking forward to this move for a while now; it’s been the client’s dream to live in the city centre. As we walk down the corridor, taking in the new surroundings, we can’t help but feel a sense of excitement at finally being here.

The low-rise section consist of brick and cast concrete cladding, the brick itself is to compliment the Lace Market warehouses behind, forming a new layer to the streetscape in the foreground. It’s not often you get to live somewhere with such history and character.

We find the apartment and unlock the door, quickly stepping inside and taking in the view from my large window. The city stretches out before me, alive with energy and motion. We can’t wait to start exploring everything it has to offer.

The new 10-storey tower in the heart of Nottingham’s Lace Market is already attracting attention, with its ornate lace-inspired interwoven metal frame forming the balconies and wrapping around the bottom of the windows in the low-rise section.

The colour of the cladding is designed to compliment the sandstone cliff and towering churches that make up this historic district, and it’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into making this building blend in with its surroundings.

Despite being a modern building, there’s no doubt that it will add to the character of this unique neighbourhood.
